Coaching · Self-Trust · Clarity

You've been doing
everything right.
And yet.

You still second-guess yourself.

You're capable. Accomplished. The person people rely on. But when it comes to your own decisions, direction and desires, you keep looking outside yourself for confirmation.

Pause is self-trust coaching for high-achieving women who want to hear themselves more clearly and trust what they already know.

Self-trust coaching for high-achieving women

“The pause is the space between the automatic reaction and the intentional choice.”

The philosophy

The space between
the reaction and
the choice.

Pause helps accomplished women navigate overthinking, difficult decisions, confidence, identity and self-trust. High-achieving women are often very good at producing, performing and taking responsibility. What gets less practice is something quieter: knowing what they actually want, trusting their own read on a situation, and making decisions without needing external confirmation first.

The pause is not about slowing down for its own sake. It is not avoidance, endless reflection, or waiting until you feel ready.

It is creating enough space to notice what is actually driving you — expectation, fear, habit, self-doubt, approval-seeking, genuine desire — before you choose. That moment of noticing is where self-trust begins.

Most women who come to coaching are not lacking information. They are not incapable of deciding. They have learned to be excellent at achieving before they learned to trust themselves. High achievement does not automatically create self-trust. The work is not adding more. It is getting clearer on what is already there.

This is for you if...

You've built a life you're proud of. You still second-guess yourself more than anyone around you realizes.

You're facing a decision and keep asking everyone else what they think — hoping someone will confirm what you already, quietly, know.

You know how to achieve, perform and take care of everyone around you. You're less practiced at knowing what you actually want.

I'm doing
this work too.

I'm Eliana. I lead global social media strategy at a major financial services company, where much of my work involves helping people find their voice, communicate with conviction, and show up more fully as themselves — executives, emerging leaders, employees learning to advocate for their own ideas.

That work taught me something I've seen consistently: confidence and competence are not the same thing. I've worked with genuinely capable people who still second-guess their voice, soften their ideas, or look outside themselves for permission before they act. The gap between what someone knows and what they trust themselves to do is often where the real friction lives.

Coaching gave me a more precise way to work with what sits underneath that. I'm currently completing my certification through iPEC, an ICF-accredited program, and working toward my ICF credential. I also coach employees on a volunteer basis through business resource groups supporting women and young professionals, and I'm opening my private coaching practice.

I don't think good coaching is about giving you the answer. My role is to ask precise questions, notice what's underneath what you're saying, challenge assumptions when useful, and create enough space for you to hear your own thinking more clearly. The goal is not to produce certainty. It is to help you trust yourself enough to move without it.

That gap between competence and self-trust is where I do my best work.

Where we begin.

I'm opening my private coaching practice alongside the final stretch of my iPEC certification. If something important keeps circling — a decision, a pattern, a question about what comes next — this is a place to work with it honestly.

Complimentary Coaching Session · 60 Minutes

A First Conversation

We'll start with where you are — what you're navigating, what keeps coming up, and what you'd most like to be clearer on. I'll ask questions that go underneath the surface, notice patterns in how you're thinking about the situation, and create space for you to hear your own perspective more clearly.

You'll leave with at least one thing you see differently. We'll also get an honest sense of whether working together makes sense.

There's no expectation to arrive with a perfectly defined problem. The conversation itself usually surfaces what matters most.

Private Coaching · 3 Months

Private Coaching

For women who want sustained support around self-trust, decision-making, identity, voice, confidence, or what comes next.

Over three months, we'll meet for six private 60-minute coaching sessions. Rather than solving one decision and moving on, we'll pay attention to the patterns underneath it — where you second-guess yourself, look outside yourself for confirmation, or struggle to trust what you already know.

You don't need to arrive knowing exactly what you want to work on. We'll start with what feels most present and follow what emerges.

The idea at the center of this work

Things people ask.

What is self-trust coaching?

Self-trust coaching focuses on the gap between knowing something and trusting yourself enough to act on it. Rather than helping you gather more information or opinions, the work is about noticing what shapes your thinking — old beliefs, fear of being wrong, the habit of seeking approval — so you can make decisions from your own judgment rather than external confirmation.

How is coaching different from therapy?

Coaching is a collaborative, goal-oriented process focused on reflection, awareness, choices and forward movement. Therapy is provided by licensed mental health professionals and can diagnose and treat mental health conditions, in addition to supporting personal growth and behavior change. Coaching is not a substitute for mental health care, and if something comes up that would be better supported by a licensed therapist, I'll say so directly.

Do I need to know exactly what I want to work on?

No. Most people arrive with something vague — a decision that won't resolve, a restlessness they can't name, a sense that something is off. The conversation itself usually surfaces what actually matters. Arriving unsure is normal and often more useful than arriving with a tidy agenda.

What can I bring to a coaching session?

A career decision. A relationship question. Something you keep circling and can't resolve. A pattern you've noticed in yourself. Uncertainty about what you want next. Anything that feels important and unfinished is worth bringing.

Who is Pause coaching for?

Women who are capable and accomplished and still privately second-guessing themselves. They may be early in their careers, mid-career, or in senior roles. What connects them is not a job title — it's that they learned how to be competent before they fully learned how to trust themselves.

What does a coaching session with Eliana look like?

We start with where you are and what you'd most like to be clearer on. I ask questions rather than give advice. I listen for what's underneath what you're saying, name patterns when I notice them, and challenge assumptions when it's useful. You leave with more clarity than you came in with — not because I gave you an answer, but because you heard your own more clearly.
